Dr. Maggie Freibergs
Dr. Maggie Freibergs, a NJ native from Hunterdon County, received her B.S. at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey while starting her career as a veterinary assistant. During her time at Rutgers, she helped out on the farm with the cows – her favorite animal! She continued on to receive her veterinary degree at St. George’s University on the beautiful island of Grenada and completed her clinical rotations at the University of Tennessee. Throughout her schooling, she developed her passion for preventative care, internal medicine and neurology. Dr. Freibergs loves educating her clients and helping them make the best possible decision for their pet’s care – she believes it’s important to be a patient’s advocate but also part of a team with their owners.
While not working, you can find Dr. Freibergs down the shore reading a good book, working out or training her not-so-little puppy, Falcon – an Australian shepherd/Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix!
